8 Days Meghalaya tour: Best time is October to March.
Embark on a scenic 8-day guided motorcycle tour through Meghalaya’s highlights including Shillong, Mawsynram, Sohra, Tyrna (Living Root Bridges), Mawlynnong, Dawki, and Amlarem. Enjoy waterfalls, caves, treks, and adventure activities like canyoning, zip-lining, and kayaking (optional at extra cost). The package includes 12 bikes with fuel, ride coordinators, mechanic, backup vehicle, all accommodations (double/triple sharing), and all meals till Day 7. Airport transfers are provided via Innova cabs.
Day wise route plan: 12 Pax.
Day 1:
Arrive at Guwahati Airport and vehicles (Innova) will pick the team and bring you to Shillong, stopping by Umiam lake (depending on your time of arrival). Bikes option will be ready at the stay locations. Overnight halt in Shillong. Spend the evening getting accustomed to the bikes and visit the city centre or areas around. Dinner and breakfast is included.
Day 2:
After breakfast, Ride to Mawsynram, via Mawphlang Sacred groves and arrive at the campsite (Safari tents or Guest rooms). Today the day is filled with adventure activities like canyoning, kayaking, and 1 trek. Evening bonfires. Dinner, breakfast, activities, buoyancy vests and local guides are included here. Overnight halt. Halt for lunch will be enroute.
Day 3:
After breakfast, we ride/drive to Sohra, stopping by the majestic Mawkdok cliff views, Arwah Caves, Nohkalikai Falls, the abandoned civilization at Rangjyrteh. Lunch break at Sohra town. Over night halt at Guest House/Home stay. Halt for lunch will be enroute.
Day 4:
After Breakfast, ride/drive to Tyrna and park vehicle on top. Trek down to the Living Root Bridges at Nonriat ( 2 hrs approx, and 3 hrs back up), as well as the rainbow falls. Overnight at Sohra Guest House/Home stay. Halt for lunch will be enroute.
Day 5:
After breakfast, we ride to Mawlynnong, Wahkhen bamboo trek, stopping by Pynursla for lunch.Overnight halt at Mawlynnong. Halt for lunch will be enroute.
Day 6:
Drive/ride to Dawki to our riverside camp by the Umngot river stay in tents. (All stays, boat ride transfers, tea and snacks, bonfire, bbq on availability during fishing, all meals, are included here.) Adventure activities (Zip lining, kayaking, cliff jumping, scuba diving etc) are extra and can be paid at site. As we will not be able to keep track of who is doing which activity.

Day 7:
Ride back via Amlarem stopping by, Rynji falls, Sah Ksaw fish sanctuary, Krang Suri falls and Phe Phe falls, then back to Shillong Home stay/Guest House. Overnight Halt. Halt for lunch will be enroute.
Day 8:
After breakfast the vehicles will drop the team to Guwahati Airport.
MEALS:
a) Breakfast (options of Puri sabji/Bread and eggs/Parathas) depending
on Guest House/hotel locations booked.
b) Lunch (options of rice &/ rotis, chicken or fish or eggs, 1 vegetable dish, dal, salad, chutney depending on which location we halt at approximately 1 to 2 pm everyday.
c) Dinner (options of rice &/ rotis, chicken or fish or eggs, 1 vegetable dish/dal/salad and chutney depending on which Guest House/hotel locations booked.
d) Other Snacks and beverages, are to be paid directly by the guests at locations.
NOTE: The group cannot overtake the ride coordinator (lead rider) and
will maintain the speed that is briefed before the ride. The team is to
adhere to ride timings and is requested to synchronize with the ride
coordinators. In case of accidents or break down the Green Route team
will take on spot decisions accordingly.
